European Community Studies Association Information
The European Community Studies association (ECSA) is the premier scholarly and professional association, worldwide, focusing on the European Union. Founded in 1988 (when the EU was still called the European Community), ECSA has more than 1,100 members in the United States, Canada, Europe and other countries, from the social sciences, the humanities, the business community, the legal profession and governments on both sides of the Atlantic. We welcome the membership of everyone with interests in any and all aspects of European Union affairs. ECSA is hosted by the University Center for International Studies at the University of Pittsburgh, and is also the coordinator of the Network of European Union Centers in the United States.
